Tekirdağ/Marmara Ereğlisi Plant
Our liquid bulk chemical, vegetable oil, petroleum, and petroleum products storage facility, established on a 40,000 m² land area, is strategically located to serve not only the Thrace Region but also to provide efficient access to the Balkans. As the only liquid bulk chemical, vegetable oil, petroleum, and petroleum products storage facility in the region, our terminal operates under A-Type General Bonded Warehouse status and delivers storage and handling services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, environmental responsibility, and high safety standards.
The facility is equipped with 56 storage tanks with individual capacities ranging from 550 m³ to 4,180 m³, providing a total storage capacity of 102,000 m³. Our tanks are constructed of stainless steel and carbon steel. The internal surfaces of carbon steel tanks are protected with Chemline, epoxy, and polyester coatings. With ongoing investments, both our storage capacity and product diversity are continuously expanding. Thanks to tanks with various internal lining options, a wide range of products—including flammable and combustible materials, acids, and other specialty chemicals—can be stored safely.
Our port infrastructure is fully integrated with the tank terminals via marine and onshore pipelines, comprising a total of 13 pipelines (4 stainless steel and 9 carbon steel). This infrastructure enables liquid chemical products transported by vessels to be transferred directly and safely into the storage tanks.
To ensure that liquid bulk cargo carried by vessels can be transferred to the tank farm more quickly and safely by sea, a Dolphin jetty investment has been completed within the terminal as a coastal facility. With the dolphin offshore facility operating at full capacity, the terminal targets approximately 250–300 vessel movements per year and 5,000,000 tons of annual cargo handling. The dolphin facility is capable of accommodating vessels up to 113,500 DWT, and both the north and south berths are designed to allow simultaneous loading and unloading of two vessels.
For the sale and dispatch of stored products, the terminal is equipped with a fully automated loading canopy with weighbridge, enabling simultaneous closed-system loading of up to six road tankers, ensuring safe and environmentally responsible operations.
To control volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and odor formation originating from storage tanks, the necessary VOC Abatement Systems have been installed. Emissions arising from all chemical components stored in solvent tanks that require emission control under the regulations of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change are effectively eliminated through a scrubber system.
Thanks to the digital level and temperature monitoring systems installed on our storage tanks, tank levels, product temperatures, and inbound/outbound quantities can be monitored and reported in real time, both on-site and via remote access.
The facility also includes a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 60 m³/day, automatic drum and IBC filling machines, mixing reactors, and steam boilers. In our laboratory, operated by expert chemical engineers, tests and routine quality controls of stored products are carried out with great precision.
Security at the facility is ensured by contracted private security personnel in compliance with the ISPS Code. The dolphin facility, pump station, and terminal area are monitored and recorded 24/7 via CCTV systems. In addition, in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, all operations are conducted in line with safe working principles under the supervision of our workplace physician, Class-A occupational safety specialist, and healthcare personnel.
